Troicki upped his game in the second set, but still lost 6-3 with 2 breaks. Nicely done, Andy, good start to the clay season.

I might even forgive him the haircut!

I thought his serve was good, turns out he made 82% of first serves, dropping just two points behind it, and five points behind his serve in all. Nice Cool

Missed the match, but the stats are stellar.

82% 1st serve - 93% winrate
33 serves, only 5 were 2nd serve.
Opponent - 53 serves, lost 24 of them.
No break points against Murray.

Loads of others, like winner ratio etc, but can't remember, texting this in atm.

If Murray can continue in this frame of mind and approach, then he's going to do a lot of damage to the top 3, and give himself room to manoever in the finals when he gets there.

Its called a No1 if they ask you BOO.

I'm actually very impressed with his ace count, just the one. With such a high 1st serve % and win rate, he must be going more for accuracy than speed, which is paying him back in more easy points.

If he can keep that up, I can't see him being a pushover any time.

Scratch that Dec, I've just found out your problem....hopefully.

If you're not logged in, the links do not show up as different text colours, they are all the medium blue, but they change when you logon.

Try it please and tell me if that is the case, then I don't have to worry anymore. Smile

Ross Hutchins and Colin Fleming on tomorrow afternoon, though their opponents are not yet identified, coming up on the schedule as alternate and the draw is just blank. Weird!! Anyhoo, unfortunately for the 2 British pairings, the Murray's have just booked a place against the Bryans #1 and if Ross and Colin win they are heading to face Mirnyi and Nestor #2. Come on the

Andy Murray first on Central Court tomorrow (around 9.30am UK time) against France's Julienn Benneteau. Could be tricky but I expect Andy to win through.

A shock today in the form of last year's finalist David Ferrer beaten in the Second Round by Thomasz Bellucci. BIG points dropped there.

Well thats my ATP fantasy picks up the shoot, thanks Ferrer ! what a numpty.

If Andy plays any where near the level he displayed on Monday, then Benneteau will have a hard time breaking him. will be an interesting match to watch and see if Murray can keep the tempo up. I might even get to see a bit of it too. Smile

Thanks BOO, it was a strange match, Barca must have had 90% possession the whole game, but couldn't really get through the Blues defence.

Only one goal in it, but at least they haven't got an away goal.

What do you reckon on the score with Murray tomorrow ?

Benneteau breaks back and Murray now leads 2-1 but back on serve. Serve not functioning quite so well today. Credit to Benneteau who is hanging in well but he is expending a lot of energy.

Drat!

I thought Andy had got over his dislike of early-morning matches, but he does seem to have got a fit of the grumps this morning.
