It is his serve that is letting him down so far today - 1st serve at 43% just now.

Great point from Murray in that game. He played ten shots with a broken string and still managed to pull out a full range of shots to win the point. Murray leads 3-2.

Yes on his hand. I don't see it being a problem though.

Benneteau had a very nasty fall, twisted an ankle badly. The umpire says it was the same place where Monaco fell.

And after two consecutive time-outs, one for the ankle and another for the wrist he fell on, Benneteau retires when he realises there is no way he can play decently, never mind well.

Ah well, not the best way to win, but Andy through to the next round.

Did you have hindsight that Andy would get a bye. Laughing

Sad to say Benneteau broke his elbow so not a nice way for Andy to go through but I am confident he would have won in the end.

Just in from work and haven't watched Murray's match yet, going to get a first. Going by what CC and Dec say it doesn't look as if it was a classic, shame about Benneteau's elbow CC I would imagine that would be pretty painful never mind trying to play with it that way.

The match up with Berdych is always interesting, but I think Andy should win this in two sets.

Well I had to go out after the first nine games and it was all a tad bitty from Andy especially his first serve which was sooo good in his first match. I never saw the injury accident but sounds nasty. As for tomorrow I hope there is an improvement in his first serve or Berdych may give him problems.

Andy Murray first up on Central Court tomorrow morning against Tomas Berdych at 9.30 am (UK time). Best of luck Andy. Can he make it his fourth semi on clay in five attempts?

See the Bryans have knocked out Andy & Jamie in the doubles 7-5 6-4 so they didn't do too bad.

Yes a decent performance that. Something tells me the Murray brothers are trying to get enough points together so as to appear at the Olympics.

It seems that the early morning courts and early morning Andy Murray are not compatible. TV camera's show him telling the umpire the court had holes all over it, which isn't great for the main court and given two match stopping injuries within two days occuring there so good on him. Again can only catch the scores at work, but will watch the match when I get home, hopefully with Andy securing the win and I can start the weekend with a nice (and well deserved) cold Very Happy

Well, its 1 all in games, 1st set, Andy's serve is better and his groundstrokes are better too.

I have to say, I don't like the grey over orange co-ordination, looks like he's just come off the estate, chav style.

Berdych always worries me. He seems to be a bad match-up for Andy.

2-1 Andy to serve next, but already he's beating himself up.

If he could just keep it to himself and focus on the next point, he'd be a formidable opponent.

Yes Dec, I don't like it either, but as long as Andy strikes while the iron's hot, then he stands a good chance.

Berdych is serving quite well, not giving a lot up. Hope Andy's patience is up to the task.

Berdych getting burned by andy's drop shots, but he's burning andy with his forehand baseline shots.

This could go either way today.
