Laura Robson takes the first set 6-2 and Schiavone has called for the trainer.

Robson now in a battle. Schiavone takes the second set and now Robson's fitness will now come under the microscope as well as her mental strength as Schiavone won't go away.

The wheels came off for Laura Robson who trailed 1-5 in the third set but battled back before losing it 6-4 and exits Wimbledon. No disgrace though considering Robson is 18 and Schiavone is a slam winner.

He'll still play as he is on the Centre Court today. His match will probably start at around 5.30 pm.

Kevin Anderson (potential 3rd Round opponent for Murray) is in trouble against the talented youngster Grigor Dmitrov and trails by two sets to love.

Solid start for Andy Murray so far as he wins the first set 6-1 and looking very relaxed. James Ward a break up in the fifth set and Elena Baltacha has also gone through.

Murray putting Davydenko to the sword leading 6-1 6-1 1-0 in about an hour. Still waiting for Andy's first unforced error. Shocked

Andy Murray through to the Second Round winning 6-1 6-1 6-4. Pretty impressive though hard to judge as Davydenko just never got a look in. No real worries about any aspects of Andy's game but bigger challenges certainly lie ahead for Andy. A good little confidence building win though. clap

Yes Solerina aside from a very slight waiver in the third set he was very solid. However, as I suspected Davydenko is well past his best. Still it is a confidence builder.

I was down in Wimbledon yesterday (Court 1, good match Tipsy/Nalby, too predictable Fed/Ramos, decent Clijsters/Jankovic, then watched Heather Watson on Henman Hill) but got back in the early afternoon knackered but eager to watch Andy. I wasn't disappointed - he played very well and the back looked to be ok, even if it is only because he is having injections to keep him going!

The rain late on today could have slightly helped Andy though. It means his potential Second Round opponent Ivo Karlovic who leads Dudi Sela 6-4 6-4 1-1 will need to come back tomorrow to finish the match. Similarly, another of Andy's opponents later Milos Raonic will need to return to complete his match leading 6-4 6-4 5-4.

Great match by Andy, service speed slow but deadly accurate, so 1st serve % way up high where it ought to be. Mixed it up so much today, Davy had no idea what hit him till it was too late. One of his best performances i think, technically wise, and I can't wait to see how he plays a complete opposite player in Karlovic.

I am confident he'll be able to take care of Karlovic. He is all serve and not a lot else. Also Kevin Anderson was knocked out today by Grigor Dmitrov who could be playing Murray in the Third Round.

Well tomorrow evening I am heading off down to Borehamwood, Herts. for a few days for an event I organise so won't catch much of the tennis. Should be home by the start of next week when hopefully will still be in the tournament. Best of luck Andy.

I watched some of Fed's match today.

You gotta love Fed...it will be a sad day for tennis when he retires.

Jamie Baker loses his First Round match against Andy Roddick 6-7 4-6 5-7. Played some great stuff and deserved at least a set I thought. At least he can hold hi head high.

Great stuff from Andy yesterday and a great day for the Brits all round, including Wardy, and the gals, and those in the doubles. Fab for Heather to get through to the 3rd round today. Great showing by Jamie Baker, did himself proud, certainly seemed to get some respect from ARod at the end. Fleming and Hutchins not having it their own way at present now tied at 2-2 after leading 2-0.
