The thing is as well that Djokovic is world No.1 and the rising star in the sport and player of last year by some distance. Roger Federer is still playing at a high level but certainly not at the same level as Djokovic. Rafael Nadal does have the Indian sign over Andy at slams but how will he fair against the more improved, aggressive Andy Murray? I cannot see any other challengers on the horizon and with Federer entering the twilight of his career as well the door is opening.

The other thing I noticed in that match was Andy's ability to receive the serve early, on the up, and then do nothing with it. It only went back to Djoko at half pace with no spin, thereby taking out the early hit and any advantage in putting Novak off his timing. He hardly went down the line with it, if he did at all, but it seemed like a total waste of energy, maybe he would have fared better with a little more time to put speed and spin on the shot by standing a bit further back.
