Bans, bans and more bans.

Poor old Koellerer, not content with his manic displays of mad dog tennis, he's begun a club for match fixing.

David Savic is the latest member to sign up, I wonder just how many players have been guilty of this in recent times.

Not counting the top players, as they don't need the money, but it goes to show how much pressure is put on the heads of those journeymen who have to ply their trade on the circuit with not much money being out in their piggy bank on a weekly basis.

Its a sad indictment of how modern pro tennis can not come to terms with prizemoney and the overall sharing out of the pot between players who enter such competitions. If this state of affairs begins to become a more common thing than is realised, then maybe the powers that be should start to rethink their strategy for percentage payout, and put into affect a fairer system that maybe rewards those that rise up the ranks at a certain rate or play well against the top players.

A year in arrears and then they can get bonuses for the year before based on their progress and win/loss stats.

I dunno, just ideas, but it looks certain that it might be a hard life to exist in pro tennis and maybe most players in the 500-200 region are existing on bread line income alone.
